Ace 2 doubling step count

So I have looked through he threads and restarted my sons Ace2 however being sat still it's still registered nearly double the amount of steps he has taken. Whilst sat with me on the sofa he did 254 steps!!  He wore it looser one day but that didn't make a difference and he wears it on his none dominate hand, not sure what else to try? I dont have any issues with my Versa.

@SamTow, I'm sorry for the late response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.

 

Regarding the extra steps that your son's Fitbit Ace 2 is tracking, I appreciate the time spent tying to resolve this issue by restarting your tracker.

 

Please try setting up your son's Ace 2 from scratch. After this, monitor his tracker during the next 24 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.

 

Keep me posted on the outcome.
