Ace 2 incorrect sleep tracking

Hi

Daughter has had an Ace 2 running for a few months. These past 3 days its telling her she has had 1 hr 50min sleep each night. Her phone app says same. This is clearly not correct.

Steps I have done following advise elsewhere on this site. Rebooted Ace 2. Checked software version is latest (it is). Made sure it has sync'd with phone (it has). She is sleeping with it on her non-dominant hand (and settings are set at that). What I can't do is change the sensitivity of her watch (the other advise seen on this site). Here's the set up we have........

I have a Sense and a fitbit account and app on my phone. When daughter got an Ace 2 I added her to my account as family. She then got a phone. I added the Fit bit app to that . I logged in and the app is set on kid view so she can view her stats.

On her phone when in kid view there is no sensitivity view. In parent view all the details move to show my sense. Sensitivity setting yes. But for mine.

What else can I do to get her Ace 2 correctly showing sleep?  I do not know what happened 3 days ago to cause this. Nothing new or changes our end.

Thanks

DJ

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @DevonJon.

Thanks for the details shared in your post and for already trying to resolve the issue. While there is no option to change the sleep sensitivity for the Ace 2, I recommend trying the following:

  1. Confirm the steps to restart the tracker: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  2. Confirm that the tracker is snug on your daughter's wrist. For more information about wearing the tracker, see How do I wear my Fitbit device?
  3. Confirm that the Fitbit app is updated to the latest version: How do I update the Fitbit app?

For more information about tracking sleep, see How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?

Hope this helps!
