Ace 2 only records partial sleep

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My daughters Ace 2 isn’t recording all of her sleep. Example: last night the house alarm went off at 3:30am. Woke everyone up. My daughter went back to sleep about 4:15. No sleep after 3:30 was captured.

This happened last week as well when she had woken up with a stomach virus and then returned to sleep for a few hours (yep, we’ve had a week of fun sleep).

Any ideas how to correct?  Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Hi @GSinFL, how long was your daughter asleep for after she was woken up during the night?  Usually you need to be still for at least an hour or two before the tracker will go into Sleep Mode.

Thanks. She was definitely back to sleep for over an hour or two. But she can be a restless sleeper so maybe that’s it. Not sure.

@GSinFL welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your daughter's Fitbit Ace 2 since it din't record her sleep completely.

In addition to the information that shared my friend @DramaQueenDiva, I'd like to share this help article, which explains how Fitbit devices track sleep.

In case the issue persists, restart your daughter's Ace 2 as described in this help page. After this, make sure that your daughter doesn't wear her tracker too tight and monitor her sleep in order to see if the issue doesn't happen again.

Keep me posted on the outcome! Smiley Happy
