Ace 2 won't track steps

Hi, my daughter's Ace 2 is not tracking her steps. I've tried the suggestions here to plug into laptop and press down the button to restart but it's not working. When I press down the button, the screen will go to sleep and once released just turns back to home screen again. Anything else I can try?

Hi @CarolC20, is her battery charged?  You might consider just charging it.  As the battery loses power, the device becomes less sensitive to steps.
