Switch to child view

It’s been a while since I switched views but I don’t seem to have the option to anymore.

When I click on the family link it tells me I already have one.

I can see I’m friends with my son but no option to go into the child’s view to see his account.

Ive got the latest app version, he has an Ace2 and have an iPhone.

Anyone able to help?

Thanks

I’ve got mine to work now. Try this as I was sent it from Fitbit help team.

We would like you to follow the instructions below:

  • Log out from the account.
  • Restart your phone.
  • Restart the Fitbit
  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Hold the other end of the charging cable near the port on the back of the tracker until it attaches magnetically. The pins on the charging cable must connect securely with the port.
  3. Press and hold the button on your tracker for 5 seconds.
  4. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
  • log back in.

Hope it works for everyone who has any issues.

Hi @NicolD79

To access the family account, you need to tap on your account, then "My Family".  From there, you should see your son's profile listed.  Under his name, you should see "Switch To Kid View" and you should be all set.

This is unfortunately not an option to switch between the views for me either. Really hoping it’s to do with the latest update of the app and will be rectified as I have 2 kids wanting their ace 2 to work and not muck up my own settings.
