Ace 3 can't update unit type

Hi, I got my daughter an Ace 3 for xmas and we've just set it up. We live in Australia, so I want for the Ace to record her measurements using the metric system. When I go into the Units, the only setting it offers me to change is Swimming. How do I change her distance walked from miles to km's?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Friendlybee.

Thank you for your question.

The Fitbit Ace 3 tracks sleep, all-day steps, and Active Minutes. It doesn't track distance therefore there is no option to use the metric system.

Have a nice day.

It may not track daily distance, but it uses distance in the badges and challenges like BINGO. Can the unit of measurement be changed for those features?

It's great to see you in the Fitbit Community, @TracyDueck @Dopovo.

Currently, there is no option to change the unit of measurement for badges or challenges in Fitbit child accounts.

There is a feature suggestion called "Fitbit Child Tracker That Records Distance". You are welcome to vote it and if there is any update, it should be communicated as soon as possible. If this doesn't fit your request, you can make a new suggestion.

Have a nice day.

@EdsonFitbit I don’t really need to it track distance, one daughter’s Ace 3 is in kilometres and one on miles. Can you tell me why this is and why it can’t be changed.

@EdsonFitbit There are also reports that some Ace 3 have time in 24H format and some in 12H format (mine is like this) and can't be changed. Something strange going on that is worthy to be checked as bugs, not as feature suggestion in my humble opinion.

I have exactly the same issue, both my daughter's accounts have a different metric system. I've took a screenshot of both for reference.

I dont see why if we can choose what metric system we would like for swimming then why can't we have the option for this also?

think it needs updating
