Is there an option for choosing an excise with the Ace 3? I can’t find anything in the manual for this but it states you can… please help looking mostly for running and swimming

I think it says you can track exercise, but goes on to explain tracking step total per day and 250 steps/hour as the exercise it can track.  I think that is all.  I don't have one so can't be absolutely sure but that's my read of the manual and what I have read and seen in past. Sorry.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

No, you can't as I could experience directly with my son's Ace 3. There is a lengthy discussion about the discrepancy in Fitbit material here
