Ace 3 issues

We have been experiencing issues for a couple of weeks. Sleep hasn't been recorded for the entire night most recently, or not at all. I even wore it one night to see if there was an issue with my kiddo and way he sleeps with it on. It didn't record sleep properly that night either. I have done everything in the suggested articles multiple times but nothing fixed it.

 

Today, I contacted help and was told because my kiddo was under 13, no sleep data was to be recorded due to privacy. That is not at all what I see in the documentation. 13 comes up when the child becomes of that age and they can access their info, but everything I saw indicates there is no limitation on whether sleep can be collected for a kiddo.

 

If it really is not possible for sleep data to be collected

1. Why did we see it up until the other day (both on the device and my tablet)?

2. Why isn't it properly communicated in advertising that you can't collect this data?

 

This is really frustrating.

Indeed the level of support lately provided by CS is worsening day by day. 

My son's ACE 3 is recording sleep (he's 7 by the way) although with simplified stages rather than full stages, this being by design since the HR sensor has been intentionally disabled (in this case I'm quite sure because of children data protection).

Not sure why yours doesn't work, I would ask to replace it.
