Ace won't hold a charge

My daughter's Ace tracker will not hold a charge. I'll plug it in, sync, charge, reset it, charge to full and then sync it again. She'll then wear it to bed. By the following day it's dead by noon. I've e en tried charging it overnight, with similar results (still dying by noon). I've tried every recommendation I've seen in these pages, including cleaning the  contacts, resetting, deleting from the account, syncing on different devices (both Android and iOS), etc. Any other suggestions before I give up and buy something else?
