Hiya, my sons (family link) ace hasn't worked in months. Have tried number of times & disconnected it & reset it back again. No joy. It will not sync

Thanks for the details shared in your post and for already trying to resolve the issue. Please try the following steps one more time in the given order:
Force stop the Fitbit app on the phone: Settings > Applications > find the Fitbit app > select it > select Force stop.
