My son came screaming that his wrist hurt. I thought he burnt it on something. He said no, that is came from his fit bit. Anyone else have this issue? It's a pretty bad burn. When I hold his fitbit to my wrist, I can feel it get warmer around the gold charging prongs.

This is happening to both of my kids. I have had them stop wearing them for now. I’ve even tried loosening them but it’s not helping. Makes me sad cause we had fun getting our steps in everyday together.

Hi @Angewalt when I wore a Flex, when water got under the band, it would get itchy and red. I got in a habit of cleaning it before putting it on and keeping it (and my wrist) dry. You can always get with support at the link I posted above. Love seeing a family doing this together.

Thanks. This makes sense. I’ll make sure to tell them to keep it dry.

My son has experienced the same. He has a red burn Mark on his wrist and has had it for 3 days. I had the fitbit for christmas and now refuses to wear it (understandably). Fitbit have offered a refund however I have found many threads with many children experiencing the same burn like Mark's. The process of a refund is lengthy. I'm not sure who to take this to next. Xx

Hi @Bits1987 if you were offered a refund, you've already been in touch with the one you need. I'm not sure where you'd need to take this next as long as customer support is helping you.
