Your child will need to be close to a phone that the Fitbit syncs through. You would then call or text this phone.

Nope, in any case the phone would have to be nearby, the child can use the phone.

You would call or message him the same way you do today. 

He needs to setup the Notifications the same way you set up your notifications. 

It is explained in the user manual .

You can not call or message your sons Ace 2. 

Nothing will change in the way you contact him now. 

The only addition is when the phone gets the call or message the Fitbit app will send notification to the Ace 2

Thanks Rayhan when someone calls my phone like my dad a notification comes on ace 2 can my child's answer it and talk to my dad if he calls my phone  and when my dad messages can my child reply

Yes your child can answer or respond. 

He will have to pick up your phone and respond.

After he gets the Ace 2 nothing is going to change, you will text or call him the same way you did yesterday.
