I have recently bought my little brother a fitbit and I have just updated and it is now linked to my account. I have been looking for a while for the setting to set up a family account. I have checked and the fitbit app is updated on both my android phone and my Windows 10 laptop but I still can't find the option. I have followed the instructions and clicked on the profile but there is no setting to set up one. It is very annoying as I do not want to make an account just for my little brother to use.

I am sorry to hear about the difficulty you're experiencing trying to set up a Fitbit family account. Thank you for trying to resolve this and providing the additional details. I totally understand how you are feeling and I am here to help. I recommend doing the following on the Fitbit app on your Android device:
You can confirm the steps to create a Fitbit family account and set up the Ace 2 at How do I set up Fitbit Ace devices?
Let me know how it goes, I'll be around.

I am also unable to create a Family Account. I've been waiting for 4 days for a "Customer Service Specialist Team" to contact me. Trying to setup the Ace 2 on a Fire Tablet HD 8. Operating system and Fitbit app are all up to date. I followed your instructions. There is no "Create Family Account" option.

I recommend confirming if Fire Tablet HD 8 is compatible with the Fitbit app at fitbit.com/devices. If possible, please try creating a Fitbit family account using an iPhone or Android phone.

i just went through the issue with trying to pair my childs Ace 2 with an amazon fire 8 tablet. i was able to create a family account, and a child account on a samsung phone, but the fitbit app for the amazon tablets is not an official fitbit app. its a version modified to run on the fire tablets. its an older version that does not support the family of child account options.
