I can’t switch to kid view on the iPhone app. It just spins and spins, and then I have to shut down the app. I’ve tried restarting the app and reinstalling, but nothing works. My son’s watch is showing the wrong time but I can’t sync with the app to correct it.

@MamamamaB Welcome to the Fitbit Community.
I'm sorry to hear that you are having difficulties to switch to kid view. Thanks for trying to resolve before contacting us. I would recommend logging out from the app and logging back in. If you have a computer available you can download the Fitbit app and update your son's clock.
Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes.

Thanks for the response. As another person commented, I can't log out and log back in - the spinning freezes everything and my only option is to uninstall/reinstall. I log in again then, but still can't switch to the Kid View. I will update the clock on my desktop - thank you.

@SunsetRunner Welcome to the Fitbit Community.
@SunsetRunner @MamamamaB Thank you for your responses. Our engineering team is aware of this situation and working to get it resolved as soon as possible. In the meantime, you can force quit the app which should log you out. You can then log back in and it should let you switch to kids view without issue.
If you have any question, please let me know.

Hi, I’m having the same problems! Was force quitting and managing to get on after a few tries but now nothing is working. It’s so frustrating! Seems to be an old problem so why is it still happening? Thanks.

Hello @EdsonFitbit with the Android app, simply logging out/in is enough to reproduce this annoyance of having the app reset as a new user.

Looks like another problem with the latest Fitbit app update.
On version 2.85 I had no problems logging into the family.

Yeah seems so! We have to take my sons off at night time anyway as everytime he moves it lights up and wakes him up, apparently there is a way of turning this off on a few of the adults versions but why not all, update it Fitbit please!
Basically his is just a pedometer now, should have bought a £10 unbranded one!
