Once again switching to kid view is not working, it just circles and circles till you have to shut down the app and it signs you out. Have not been able to access it since fitbits latest update. How long is it going to take to fix cause I see many others have sent in that it’s not working. Might as well send my kids fitbits back since we can’t sync them. The family account has been nothing but problems.

We are having this same issue. I bought a charger 4 and my daughter wanted one for herself, so I bought her the ace 2. Got it yesterday and had the same issue when trying to set it up. Needless to say, she was very disappointed, as was I when I came to this board and saw that this has been an ongoing issue since 2018! While reading through the thread, someone had a work around that I thought I'd try and it worked!
First, my husband who does NOT have a fitbit, downloaded the app onto his iphone and created an account for himself. From there, he created a family account using his new login and added our daughter. When it came time to switch to child's view, it didn't freeze and went right to the page! we were able to continue with the set up and my daughter now has the app on her phone and is enjoying her ace 2.
It was a pain and makes me not want to purchase any fitbit products in the future, but I was happy to find this work around. Let me know if you try it! 🙂

I feel your pain. As a family of fit bit users for years I cannot wait to get rid of all of them!
