Cannot set up Ace 3

Two Ace 3's brought from Santa for our 7 & 8 year olds. No prior knowledge that each child needed their own phone in order to set it up... they obviously don't have their own phones. I'm an android user and have had a Fitbit for years. This Google takeover has ruined it. Hours of time wasted over the past 2 days and two very upset little girls. Congratulations Fitbit on ruining multiple Christmases!!!

Hi @amcdbubbles  it's mentioned in the article on how to set up (click if you haven't seen it) and they can share a phone - logging off and on as needed.

Stepping in the U.S.A. since September 2013. Android 14

Same here. I’ve spent two days completely shocked by how complicated and intrusive Google has made this process. It’s really quite remarkable how terrible it is and then after you’ve done all their insane requirements, it still doesn’t work.
