How in the world can I change this?

and why doesn't automatically just set the watch to the preferences of the parents Fitbit?

@doristef87 Welcome to our Fitbit Community! Regarding your inquiry, my friend @Julia_G is correct. The 24 hour format change can be done through the web-based Dashboard currently. Please give your vote to the suggestion that she shared above.

I appreciate your feedback and patience with this. Let us know if you have any doubts!

Hi, @doristef87, unfortunately at present you cannot do that.  The 24 hour for,at setting is only available in the web based platform, and the Ace is only set up on the app.

You may want to vote for, and comment on, this feature suggestion.  The more votes, the more likely it is to be implemented.

I am sorry not to have better news for you.  Welcome to the forums!

Is this true even for a child's account?  I can see nowhere on the website, as a guardian/parent, how to get into the child's account to change the 12/24 hour setting.

@scottsome Thank you for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community! I'm afraid that this is true. Therefore, I also recommend you to vote for this Feature Suggestion, which applies for the "child account". The more votes this request gets, the more chances it will have to be reviewed by our engineering team.

Thank you for your understanding and time with this. Let me know if you have more questions! Smiley Happy

Hi, @shyann, yu have posted in the Fitbit Ace forum.  The Ace is a Fitbit tracker for kids.  Is that the Fitbit you are asking about?

For all Fitbits, including the Ace, you can update the time by syncing the Fitbit.  If you are having trouble with that, please post again letting us know which Fitbit you are using and what phone or device you use for syncing.

For adult accounts you can change the time format (12 hour or 24 hour) on the web based dashboard.  For child accounts this cannot be changed.

Hi, @Leehowick17 , I don’t really understand your post.  If your son’s Ace is set to 24 hour format then you need to set the alarms appropriately.

08:23 should go off in the morning at 23 minutes past 8 in the morning.

Is something else happening?  Can you please explain further?

Is this true that the 12/24 hour format can only be changed on a parent account leaving the kids account (and it's ACE2 connected) stuck on the factory preset?

I really hope that this is not the case...

hugely amateuristic that you cannot even change to 12 or 24h clock. even my casio from 1990 could do that. The weirdest thing is we bougt two ace 3. One has 24h clock, the other 12h and there is no way to correct either of them.
