I’ve been having difficulty moving from Google to Fitbit, my child’s Fitbit is connected to my email as is my Fitbit, it’s finally let me move my child’s one (which then I was stuck on and had to uninstall and reinstall a few times before I got back onto mine!) but now it won’t let me move my Fitbit, it says this email address has already moved to Fitbit, but it’s just my child’s Fitbit that has, not mine. It’s still prompting me to move mine every time I go on the app. Any advice??

I have the same issue! They prompted me to transfer my child’s account before I could transfer mine and now my child’s account is apparently the only Fitbit account that can be linked to Google. I can’t figure a way to add mine because it says my email address already has an account (my child’s). I’ve been trying to figure out a way to get actual human help to solve this problem!

Hello
so your saying the only way out of this is to create a whole new Google account?I have had this account and email for about 20 years I’m definitely not changing my whole life’s data over for the sake of this, is there really no other way around it? Thank you

I was hoping I'd come here and find the solution but I'm having the exact same difficulties!!! This is obviously a known issue and I know that if I call I won't get anyone who will actually help me resolve this and I will have wasted hours of my day. How are we suppose to move a child first without first creating an account for them when in fact you CAN'T create a Google account for a minor without going through all the Google hoops and rightly so. The only work around is to lie about their birthday to get an Google account. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!! Why can't I just create my 'fake' google account (since I can't use the email I've had for 20+ years managed by Google) then migrate my whole family at the same time?
