Fitbit Ace 2 set up difficulty

Hi my daughter received her Fit Bit Ace2 , we cannot set it up. I’ve powers off the phone, deleted and reinstalled the app, the app is updated. Nothing is happening at set up. Please help! Thanks

Hi @Pilatestracy what phone do we have here? 

When you do an add device, what happens? 

At what step does the failure occur? Do you see any errors to pass on? 

Is the Ace2 on? 

Does the app have the option to add the Ace 2? 

Is the tracker found? 

Does a 4 digit number show on the tracker? 

Can you enter the 4 digit number into the Fitbit app? 

What then happens.

Hi Rich,

We finally got the Ace 2 set up. It took ages. There was a problem loading it, even though Fitbit was charged over 50% and still charging while iPhone 11Pro was beside it.

The kids view would not work at all, screen just hung, so I didn’t go with that route, I just added the device separate as if mine and not my daughters.

The 4 digit code showed up and the Fitbit is now working.

The kids view still does not work.
