I have a 12 year old and I like the functionality of the Ace 2 but don't want it to be too childish for him.  

 

Also, can you buy the Ace anywhere?

Hi @kmbsfc  the Ace was retired a while back. You can probably find one at Amazon, but at an inflated price.

@kmbsfcThe Ace2 bands that come with the device are quite colorful and I could see how a 12-year old could find them a bit off putting.  I got my son some cheap replacement bands from Amazon in all grey and black and he is fine with them.
