How do I switch accounts on a Smartphone?

Can you use the device without having a smartphone of your own then? Does it work from the main smartphone in your family even if your parents use fitbit devices themself?

You and your child can see their daily stats including step count, active minutes, and sleep patterns under kid view in the Fitbit app. Note that your child must sync their tracker to see updated activity data in the app.

To switch from parent view to kid view:

  1. Tap the Today tab

, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap My Family.
  3. Under your child's name, tap Switch to Kid View.

To return to your Fitbit account:

  1. Tap the Today tab

, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Switch to Parent View, and confirm.
  3. When prompted, enter your password.

To set up 2nd person with own account, would have to log out of parents account, the create new account for the additional person; then would have to logging out of one account, then into the other.

Also be aware then, there would be questions about which phone notifications would go to, say, if don't want parents texts going to other phone.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
