@Ciaradoyle2468 Welcome to the Fitbit Community.

I'm sorry to hear that your son's Fitbit Ace didn't change to the 12-hour format. Since his Tracker is set to your Fitbit account, there is no option to have the two devices on different hour formats. If you are having difficulties changing the two Trackers to 12-hour format, I would recommend performing a restart to the Fitbit Ace by following these steps. If this doesn't work please remove it from the account and set it up once again.

Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes.

Hi Edson, I am having the same issue but in reverse. I set up my daughter’s Ace by creating a family account. Her device is on a 24-hour clock. I have tried syncing hers and mine to try to get hers to the 12-hour clock but syncing is not working. I would really hate to have to go through set up all over again? The clock display we chose won’t work either. Disappointing start so far. 😞

Hi Edson, after multiple times syncing and turning my phone on/off it finally switched to a 12-hour clock. The display she picked with the time and flower still won’t work so we chose another display - other than that, it looks to be working. Thanks!

Having the same issue with both child aces. My charge 3 is now set as 12 hour clock but both aces are still 24 hour. I Have tried a reset numerous times, have also deleted and reset their accounts. The only way I can get them on 12 hour clock is to set them up as a main device on the app. If i set up a child account they go back to 24 hour clock. How can I setup a child account and keep it on 12 hour clock??  Its extremely annoying

Just bought an ace 2 and can’t get the clock to show in 12 hour format. This is very disappointing as it should be an option.

ive tried setting up kids profile and only get 24 hour clock.

when I set up as new device under my account it will change to 12 hour but all step counts etc sync with my charge 3.

This should be an easy fix and if not resolved I would bring the watch back and get a garmin

Just bought fit bit ace for my daughter and have the same problem. The clock is in 24h format and my daughter does not understand it yet. I have tried restarting and all the rest. How can I fix this? I mean considering you had people complaining about the same issue since 2018 I will imagine there should be a solution already.
