Arrived today for a very excited 6 year old. I plugged in to charge (with the right charger and checked socket ok too) received the 4 digit code from ace2 face, input it into my phone then left it to do its thing. Returned hours later and it hasn’t done anything as it says that it needs to be over 50% charge in the device, I looked at the face on the Ace 2 and it is a digital flat line right across the middle can get it to do anything, doesn’t say it’s charging. Dead Any ideas, been plugged in 4 hours now, it’s clearly isn’t charging. pins are aligned as far as I can and tell.

I am sorry to hear your son's new Ace 2 tracker is showing only a digital flat line. I appreciate your efforts and the additional details. It seems that the Ace 2 needs a firmware update and I recommend following the troubleshooting instructions from this help article: Why can't I update my Fitbit device?
