Losing data when upgrading watch

I want to upgrade my daughters watch from an Ace 2 to Fitbit Luxe. I can’t add this watch to her kid account and I don’t want to lose the data she has. She is not yet 13. Is the only option to wait until she’s 13 to upgrade her watch? Kids these days need a little bit more than an Ace at older ages but under 13.  What can be done to get her a new watch for Christmas and not lose her data under her kids account?

Yes, you can't add the Luxe preserving the data until she is 13. Sorry about that.
