New Ace 2 won’t set up

Hi brand new ace 2 won’t set up

 

trying to set up on iPad Pro, getting message that update is required but it fails each time I try. I have tried all steps and helpful tips listed 

 

please advise

I am sorry to hear you're having difficulty with the Ace 2 set up. Thanks for trying to resolve this, I appreciate the additional details and I am here to help. I recommend making sure the Fitbit app and your iPad are up-to-date. Please restart the tracker and iPad and try to set up the Ace 2 again by following the steps at How do I set up Ace or Ace 2 for my child?
