I can't switch to child account anymore, always saying something went wrong try again later.
I've done all the steps explained multiple times, even reset the Ace 3 that is now unusable because it is stuck in the set up screen. So frustrating we just got the new Ace in July. Since fitbit was bought by Google it has been nothing but bad all around

Hi everyone!
Thanks for reporting the issues with switching between your kids and your accounts and connecting your kids device to their accounts.
Our team has informed me that both issues have been resolved.
Happy holidays!

I have the exact same issue! 2 kids watches which are now useless. Tried deleting and reinstalling, nothing seems to work. Got this issue on 2 different phones

I too am having this issue. I have three child accounts and am unable to switch to any of them on my phone. When trying to switch to a child account, I get the following error: Something went wrong Please try again.
The app then signs me out. I have cleared cache, cleared app data, and uninstalled/reinstalled the app.

Very much similar situation as the other users. Every time I try to switch to my kid's profile I get the error message saying "Something went wrong".

Exact same behaviour as the others - try to switch, says "something went wrong, try again later", and then logs me out of the FitBit app. Tried reinstalling, adding a new child account, and a different device - same behaviour all around.

Exact same issue here. Can no longer switch to my daughter's profile. It's extremely frustrating!

Any fix yet or ETA? Anyone got it to work?
I'm on android 16, Google pixel 6 pro, latest Fitbit app version.

Also android 16, tried it on 2 phones, pixel 8 and 9a, won't work on either of them. Lots of data on my kids watches is going to be lost 😭😭

Thanks for fixing this specific issue! I can now switch to a child account. I've still been having issues syncing my son's fitbit ACE 3 with the fitbit app. The watch is connected to the app. Steps and sleep show up properly however it goes in a continuous loop of trying to sync and never syncs properly.

Well, the fix was very short lived. It's now back to giving the same error.
This is by far buggiest, most frustrating app that I've ever had to deal with.
