Over 13 child account unable to add Inspire 3

Hi, I am trying to set up my son with an Inspire 3. He, and His account, are over 13 but is on our family account. Is there really no way to add a real Fitbit to his account simply because we have it linked to a family account?

Hello @Timathius and welcome to the Community.  Moderators have confirmed that a user can't be part of a Google Family account.  It seems that your son needs his own Google account.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Timathius. Thank you for sharing your Family account query.

As @LZeeW mentioned, only your children who are under 13 (or the applicable age in your country) will move with you to the Family account. Older children and adults in your family must move Fitbit to Google on their own.
