Set up alarms for Ace 2

I have both my kid’s ace 2 fit bits synced with my phone.  I am able to see their progress, but I cannot get the dashboard on either of their profiles.  I am the only one who has a dashboard.  Therefore I cannot find how to set up the alarm function, or the other functions that require set up with the app.

Welcome on board @Kellysmale, it's nice to see a new member around!

I am glad to assist you with the difficulties you're experiencing with your kids dashboards and setting up alarms. Thank you for letting me know that you've already set up the Ace 2 trackers. Please confirm if you're able to switch from parent view to kid view:

1. Tap the Today tab and tap your profile picture.
2. Tap My Family.
3. Tap your child’s name.
4. Tap Switch to Kid View.

For more details, please see How do I manage my Fitbit family account?

You can set and delete alarms in the Fitbit app: How do I manage alarms on my Fitbit device? Turn alarms on or off directly on Ace 2 in the Alarms app.

I'll be around if you need further help!

Thank you for the feedback. I called the helpline, and got the one further step that I was missing. Under kid’s view you then have to tap the ace2 icon to get access to other features.

@biker6 thank you for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community! Regarding your question, yes, you can only set an alarm through the Fitbit app. Please check out the page 17 of the Ace 2 manual for more information about the alarms of the Ace 2.

Let me know if you have more questions! 😀

Thank you @Kellysmale ! I was having this same problem.  I can't believe I never tried clicking on the name of the "Ace 2" device, but clearly I had not tried it.  Now I can finally get to all of the other features, most importantly the alarms.  Thanks again!!!

What is the best way to set up the alarm on the ace 2? Having some issues

I'm having the same problem with my kid's ace 3. (I love that the manual says you can set alarms, but doesn't bother the say how.) I have chatted with a support person, who couldn't help me with kid's fitbits, and referred me to an email address. I emailed and they haven't replied. I tried the solution the OP found, but there is no Ace 3 icon to tap.

It’s good to see you in the community, @KatBo.

Thanks for the details shared in your post and for already trying to resolve the issue. I am sorry that you are going through this situation and appreciate your feedback. I recommend doing the following:

1. Open the Fitbit app and tap your profile picture at the upper left corner.
2. Tap My Family.
3. Under your child's name, tap Switch to Kid View.

4. Tap your child's profile picture.

5. Tap Ace 3.

6. Tap Silent Alarms > Set a New Alarm.

7. Select the alarm time and frequency, and save.

For more information, see How do I manage alarms on my Fitbit device?

Hope this helps.

This is getting to be funny. I got two emails from Fitbit last night. One was the above instructions from LilliaFitbit, on how to do it on the phone app. The other email said to use the app on the device. Neither of these options work. The alarms app on the Fitbit mobile app is a static screen that says the app is installed on the device. The device says to go to the Fitbit mobile app. We have here an infinite loop.
