Setting alarms with Ace 3

Can my child set his own alarms through his Ace 3 watch, or can it only be done through the Fitbit app?

According to user's Manual:

• Set one-time or recurring alarms with the Alarms app . When an alarm goes off, your tracker vibrates. I didn't find the option to set the alarm on the watch.
