Android 8. App version 2.84
When I switch to our child view to sync the Ace, the app behaves oddly when I switch back to my parent view.
* The app shows a "Fitbit Sync Service - sync in progress" notification that will not stop running and effectively drains my phone's battery (even if I had just synced my device). I have to click on this notification and click "OK" to link my device to my Charge 2.
* My dashboard tile configuration resets
* Viewing my Sleep or any other tab shows all of the tutorials once again, as if I had just set up the app.
I'm not going to give my eight-year-old a device so this can sync, and the macOS Fitbit Connect doesn't seem to work unless you have a watch (?)
Nothing _broken_, but it definitely makes for a poor experience.

@mglaman It's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear about the experience you've had with your Fitbit app when trying to switch from your child account to yours. Please try logging out of the app, reset your phone, open the app and log back in. After this, try switching accounts and see if the issue gets fixed.
Keep me posted on the outcome!

I've noticed the same thing whenever I log out and back in.
I'm using an Android phone and nit sure what phone @mglaman has.
@JuanJoFitbit this is not a problem caused by the tracker but the way the app works, or at least the Android app.

I have reset the app. The issue occurs. It is a problem with how the Android app's state reacts when switching back to parent view. It's as if any "flags" get reset.

I believe the data for the specific accounts are not saved. Not sure what is ment by resetting the app since there is no such command, do you mean clear the data? Doing this will definitely cause the new user flag to be set.

Any update to this issue? My son just got an Ace and this is happening to me. It resets everything and moves around my tiles as well. Not a good user experience.

@Beyerkel Thank you for joining us in this thread! I'm sorry to hear that the tutorials are also re-appearing. Please make sure that your phone has the most recent app version installed. Also, let me know what is your phone's model.
In the meantime, try logging out of the Fitbit app, restart your phone, open the app and log back in. Finally, try switching from parents view to kids view and vice versa in order to see if the issue gets fixed.
Keep me posted!

@JuanJoFitbit on Android any time I log out and back in, all the tutorials get displayed and need to be cancelled for me to see the appropriate page.
I'm not sure if this is your experience but please try a log out/in and let us know what your experience is. Are you using an Android device?
At one time 4 years ago, this did not happen but I'm not sure when it started.

Did you ever get a fix for this? My daughter has the Fitbit Ace 2 and it's driving me crazy that everytime I switch to the kids view and back to parent view all my tiles get moved around.
