Unable to switch to parent view on iOS app

When signing in the app with one account it displayed my child’s account and would not let me switch out of it due it being a different account then the sign in. It also has mismatched devices or deleted devices form accounts several times.

Hi @Gooberhead29. Welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry for the delayed response.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, as well for your efforts while working on this. Before anything else, may I know if you receive an error message when switching to parent view?

In the meantime, I'd recommend to try the following steps:

  1. Verify if the Fitbit app is updated in your iPhone. For instructions see this help article.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app as described here.
  3. Reboot your phone.
  4. Open the Fitbit app, tap on your profile picture > Switch to Parent View and confirm.
  5. When prompted, enter your password to access to your Fitbit account.

Since you mentioned that the Fitbit app has mismatched devices, do you mean that your child's Fitbit is linked to your standard account instead of their child's account? If that's correct, you can follow the steps from this help article to set up a child's Fitbit in the correct account.

By the way, I’ve moved your post to the Ace & Family Accounts board as there are more chances for you to get an answer to your post here. This will also help us to keep our forums organized.

I'll be around, keep me posted.
