On Tuesday 12/24/19 I walked about 2.2 miles between 2:50pm and 3:40pm. My Alta battery was probably 70% charged at the time. The activity showed for a few minutes after I did a sync The exercise did not show so I added it and put the start and end times of my walk. I went back to the main dashboard and the Activity disappeared (and the number of steps was not correct either). I closed the app and reopened a few minutes later; the Fitbit was re-synced then and I have re-synced it several times since. The Activity still gone.

Hi @McCarron, welcome to the Community Forums! My sincere apologies for the delayed reply.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this situation and how many times since then? Which activity was unfortunately lost? Which mobile device are you using to check the Fitbit app and sync your Alta device? If you haven't already done so I recommend you to check the information that's specified on our help article: How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities? to manually log the activity into your account and be credited for such information. Then, you can try the following steps:
Keep me posted.
