Alta HR Keeps Power Cycling w/ Buzzing

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Alta seems to be stuck in a cycle, its on a continuous restart when I plug it in and it will continue to do this for as long as its plugged in.  When I remove it from the charger, it continues to do this until the battery is depleted.  I have cleaned the contacts per instructions on the forum and would attempt to restart per instructions on the forum but it doesn't stay on long enough.  Any recommendations from anyway?  Wondering if I should stick with Fitbit or maybe move over to a apple watch.

Hello @frederickatz and welcome to the Community.  The Alta HR is an older model tracker, released in 2017.  I think it's reached its end of life.  Whether you stay with Fitbit or switch to another brand depends on your needs and current features.  But if you bought your Alta HR when it was released, I think you got your money's worth.  I'm seeing more and more posts about 2016-2017 devices starting to fail.  I think it's simple end of life.
