My Alta HR has stopped tracking my exercise normally for the past couple of weeks, meaning I have manually had to put it in. It also keeps tracking “elliptical” which I haven’t done multiple times per week at weird times such as 6am when I’ve been asleep? The average heart rate shown for the exercise is my resting heart rate so I think something is glitching. What should I do about this problem? Should I reset my Fitbit, however will this delete all my data on the Fitbit app? Thank you

Welcome to the Community, @Ge0rgia8.
Thanks for troubleshooting this SmartTrack issue. SmartTrack recognizes an exercise that lasts at least 15 minutes. If your activities aren't recognized, lower the auto-exercise recognition setting to 10 minutes.
About the elliptical issue, you can restart the device by following the steps in the article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?. Now the heart rate, follow the tips in the article: What factors can affect my heart-rate reading on my Fitbit device?.
Let me know the outcome.
