Alta HR charging cable redesigned?

Have to replace charger that came with my Alta HR ( original). The charger shown for the AltaHR is different - the original had "squeeze prongs" to hold on device. One shown on website appears to plug directly into charge "pin" area on inside. Will it work on the Alta HR or not? Box only says "Alta"

I know that the Alta doesn't work with the Alta HR charger, so in my mind the HR won't work on the Alta charger, but there's just one way to find out and that's ... plug it in and see if it charges.
