Alta HR not responding to taps

 When you tap the watch to show information is one tap enough? My Alta HR has to almost always need at least 2 taps. Recently before it did the shut off thing it would need multiple taps? When it was new it would display if you would raise your arm up in front of you. But not like they said it should.
