So I bought my Fitbit in 2017 and used it for about a year. I've started using it again. Still using the same phone I originally synched it on, my Fitbit isn't syncing properly. It's sending data but it's got the wrong time and date on it. And the app says last synced 2018. I've done everything to make it work but it's just not having it. I've read on here that fitbits have a lifespan of 2 years. If that's true, that's very disappointing and wouldn't buy one again if this is the case.

Thanks for the troubleshooting performed before reaching out. As you already tried some steps to solve this situation with your Alta HR, have you read this article as well Why won't my Fitbit device sync?. If not you can follow the steps there and also make sure that your Fitbit app is up to date.
