Alta HR screen acting odd

My Fitbit Alta HR just started going crazy and scrolling through all my screens constantly. What is going on? Can I do a reset or is it broken? Even on the charger it goes between the battery symbol and the Fitbit symbol.

The exact same thing is happening with my Alta HR. Worst, It even won't restart when I press the button on the charger 3 times within 8 seconds.

Same here! It won't restart and just keeps flashing through the screens. I've cleaned the contacts (and that did nothing). Help 😞

No they sent me a new Fitbit as it was still under warranty. We tried several resets and it was toast.

My Alta HR started doing the same thing yesterday.  I have reset the Fitbit several times on the charger by pressing the button 3x.  Deleted the app and reinstalled it.  Nothing works. Did you get yours to work?

I think I've had it with Fitbit products especially since Google took over.   I buy these nice interchangeable bands for it and then months later it goes crazy.  Not worth the expense when there are other brands that do the same thing at a lower price.  Plus I think I bought an extended warranty on this last one but have no idea where to find out about it.  No one to contact at Fitbit.  Just this stupid message board.
