Alta HR screen scrolls through displays constantly

No screen display, tried reset, now scrolling through all displays constantly. Any ideas?

I too am having this same issue. First, it was over tracking my movement all of last week and after I charged it on Saturday I woke up Sunday to a black screen. I did the reset and now it is just constantly scrolling through my screens rapidly. At one point during a reset  attempt I got a solid green light and no screen. I am at a loss on what to do. My Ulta HR is only 18 months old. I really want to resolve this.

I’m having the exact same issue. This is my third Alta and the third one that dies or flips out on me after 16 months! Not happy right now!

Yes!!!! This is my second Alta and both had a software freak out both times between 16-18 months from purchase. I beating my head against the wall trying just about everything to fix it issue. At this point, I am waiting for the battery to complete go dead to try a few additional things before I give up. I’m questioning if I should replace or go with a different option. I LOVE my Fitbit but I’m a little anger that this is the second one that has done this just outside the warranty.

I know. This was my first and lasted 3 years almost to the day, which seems not bad after reading other comments (still not good enough Fitbit) Wasn’t wanting to pay £120 for another to not last long, Fitbit ‘help’ couldn’t help and offered 30% off new one, but by time shipping and taxes taken off, cheaper to buy on best price in UK. Have bought a Charge 4, at least has 2 year warranty, Alta was only a year, will see how it goes.

Same here, loved the AltaHR, just not how software seems set to fail soon after out of warranty. Had to give up on Alta, and have gone with Charge 4 as was cheaper option with a 2 year warranty, but hoping it lasts longer. Will be jumping ship and trying another company if same happens to this one. Hope you can fix yours.
