Alta HR screen/tap response issues

 My Fitbit Alta HR,  when connected to the charger, and after resetting, the screen/display works and responds to taps.

 After disconnecting from charger, the screen/display does not respond to taps.

 Additionally I have tried to contact Fitbit customer service/support, and after numerous attempts the number provided does not work. Thx guys!

Mine is doing the same thing.  I haven't used it in a long time but it is charging fine.  I have connected to the charger through my USB port, and it works when I disconnect it until the screen goes blank.  Then I can't get it to reactivate.  #25 in the chat line waiting for assistance.  Perhaps they can help.

Same.  Has been an issue this past few days.
