Alta HR shows www.fitbit.com/setup

My Alta HR just keeps scrolling www.fitbit.com/setup.  I've had it a couple years and never had this happen before.

I have it synced to an android Motorola phone.

Hi @suedaseler @grandmomsdc, welcome to the Forums.

The devices that show www.fitbit.com/setup usually are not paired to an account. I suggest to restart your devices by following the steps in this link How do I restart my Fitbit device?. After the restart try to set up the devices as a new device by following the instructions in this link How do I set up my Fitbit device?

Hi Ana. I am Sharon Cummings. I handle all of my husband's electronic
devices and computer problems, hence I am responding to your email that you
sent him.

I did everything you suggested. The Fitbit is still scrolling the Fitbit
setup address. I got as far as the app and the Fitbit trying to do a
firmware update, and I can see the devices are communicating with each
other, however they won't complete the update. I then get a message saying
a firmware update is required and to try again. I've reset the Fitbit and
tried updating multiple times, all with the same result.

Any suggestions as to what I should try now?
