Is anyone having a problem with your Alta-HR device counting/logging miles driven as steps?

Thanks for letting me know about your Alta HR and I'm sorry that it's tracking steps while driving. I got in touch with our Support team and I was told that you already have a case created with them. It seems that you case is under review and they'll provide you with further details via email. Keep an eye on your inbox.

Thanks. I have gotten nothing but lies from the support team. My “case” was opened over a week ago. They aren’t doing anything at all, except lie and deceive. First it was a defect; not possible. Etc Etc

I did see a response to this issue from a Fitbit support person, about the manual input or something like that but I did not purchase this to “manually” do anything. I could’ve used the manual type I already have!!

I refuse to be inconvenienced because they don’t want to take responsibility for their defective products. It’s a matter of principle and if no one calls them out on it and holds them accountable, it will never end.

I am so tired of these big companies selling defective products and getting away with it. Well not this time.
