My Fitbit is 9 months old. While still at 50% battery it did a full shut off. I plugged into my regular charger and the battery level would show But nothing else and the heart rate green light was unusually green.
I put it in rice overnight with no ideas until I could search the next day. After reading through some forums, I tried plugging into my computer and pressing the button on the charging cord and sure enough the Fitbit logo appeared and it was working again. Then just a few days later it shut off again (still with a battery charge) and I went straight to the computer reset. This time the Fitbit logo would appear and then the little ID number or code thing would appear for only a half second before the device shuts off again.
Sometimes the battery shows full. Sometimes empty. Sometimes nothing will show but the reset has not worked a second time. I’ve searched the forums but haven’t found a solution only dissatisfied customers. I’ve enjoyed my Fitbit and hope to find a solution soon!
