I got a new phone and the FitBit transferred automatically without me having to add it to the app. However, I've started noticing some weird syncing issues. If I delete the device and re-add it to the app, will I lose all my data? Or is my past information saved to a server?

Since your tracker is already paired, you don't need to set it up again at the moment of having a new phone. You just need to log into your account and they will do the rest. Regarding your inquiry, if you unpair the unit without syncing it first, you will lose the information that hasn't synced. I recommend taking a look at the help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and follow the instructions provided there.
