Alta HR won't turn on

I've had an Alta HR for about 1 year. When I check my phone, it is logging everything but when it is on my wrist, it won't light up. It shows nothing. When I plug it in, it lights up but won't stay on. Is their anyway to fix this?

Hello and welcome to the Fitbit Community @TX1 

I would suggest restarting your Alta HR to see if that resolves the issue. You will not lose any data doing this. 

Here’s how:

1. Plug your charging cable into a USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display. Your tracker will begin charging.
3. Press the button on your charging cable 3 times within a few seconds, briefly pausing between presses. The button is on the end of the charging cable that is plugged into your computer. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, this means the tracker has restarted.
4. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable. Now try sync your Alta HR

HR Alta Fitbit not lighting up when tapped.  I have selected the button on the charge 3 times, it vibrates and takes a charge.  It still will not light up. It has been tracking tracking sleep and steps however, will not light up except once every once in a while.  Is it time for a replacement?

I tried all of the trouble shooting, including letting it plugged for 30 minutes more even if the battery was loaded (following a chat) and it did not work. Still black. What's next?

I tried your suggestions but my charging cable doesn’t have any buttons on it.  Is there another way to make it turn on?

My device will only turn on while on charger. Takes charge and syncs to my phone no problem. But as soon as disconnected from charger won't turn on or track activity. My charger does not have any buttons. I reset it and reinstalled and synced on my phone. Still nothing! 😔

My Alta passed away. Never woke up again. Not sure I will buy again since help is scarce.

Tried restarting it pushing the button 3 times and it and it still won't restart.  Sorry.  I've tried this 3 times already
