My Alta watch randomly shuts off although the battery is changed. I did the resets as suggested but I continue to experience the same issue. I contact their support and was told there was nothing I can do if the resets don’t work, purchasing another watch was my only option! I’m extremely disappointed in Fitbit. Clearly there’s an issue with the Alta watch, so many users posted on community the exact same issue. Offering a solution that only works for a few hours is not a real solution.

I have been facing the same issue quite increasingly in the past weeks. Admittedly, my Alta is now three years old and has served superbly, so I am thinking perhaps its battery is dying out. Also, does your Alta get wet/in the water much - mine conks off when that happens accidentally. But to have it shut off within the same day of charge is so annoying.
I have loved Fitbit since 2015 and was thinking of getting the Alta HR, but they seem to have taken it off their product catalogue on the website! Does this mean they are phasing out Alta, and does that have anything to with the rapidly declining upkeep of their Alta user base? Just curious.
