For the past few months, my Alta will vibrate, like I received a text on my phone (my Alta lets me know I received a text), and then shut down. Doesn't matter how many steps I've done. I plug it in to charge and each time this happens (shutdown) it's taking longer and longer for it to register that it's plugged in. Sometimes it's at 50% battery and sometimes it reboots from the beginning and then will have a low battery, but not low enough it should shut off. WHY?

Hi there, @KStocker967. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Alta. I understand where your concern is coming from.
Please restart your Alta as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.
