Alta not counting Floors

My last fit bit seemed to count the floors and I see in my account that this is an option but this Alta one is not tracking floors at all. Is there a way to turn this on? I feel like I go up and down the stairs all day everyday and would like to start tracking this. Thank you for any insight!😊

Alta and Alta HR do not count floors, even though floors are in the app as one of the stats.  They do not have the altimeter so it is not possible that it could be turned on even with a firmware update.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

My Alta counted floors from 2018 till April 2020 and suddenly it stopped.  No idea why, but it is clearly in my Stats that it tracked and has now stopped.
