Alta not responding after being charged

I've had a Fitbit Alta for a few years (probably 5 or so), and it worked well for a long time. I stopped wearing it at some point and only found it again recently. Since finding it, I've been having an issue where my Alta will appear to charge all the way up to 100%, and will work after being unplugged and staying on, but the second it falls asleep it refuses to wake up again. I'm able to feel it vibrate for notifications or move reminders, but it wont display anything on screen. When I plug it back in to it's charger, it goes through the boot up process and the cycle starts over.

Try restarting your Alta a few times. If that doesn't help then sadly it is dying and there is nothing you can do.
