Alta stops counting during the day and the only way I can get it going again is to log out and log back in.

is there a better way ?

Hi, @Rkrakau , you mention logging out and logging back in again, which makes me think that it is not your Alta not counting, but your Alta not syncing to yur phone and updating the number there.  Is that correct?  It's true that logging out and logging back in again is often a good way to force a sync so the number on your Fitbit app updates.  But you could also go to the account screen (click on the person icon top left) and choose "sync now".  You might also want to check that "all day sync" is turned on which should mean that your Alta syncs throughout the day when it is connected both to bluetooth on your phone and to the internet - which reminds me to say that it will also only sync under those circumstances - i.e with Bluetooth on and an active internet connection (cellular or wifi).

If it doesn't sync for some hours - or even several days - there is no need to worry, as your Alta will store at least 5 days of basic data.

I hope this helps.  Welcome to the forums!
